Alex Ho
From Whitehall, Pennsylvania, Alex Ho is an oil painter and mixed-media artist with a fine arts degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College. Alex focuses on character development in himself, which he displays in his art. He sees his art as a series of lessons to be learned from various periods in life. Alex learned he could draw seriously at the age of 8 and has loved it ever since.
Creating paintings for his classmates in high school and beyond, Alex learned he could give others happiness by pursuing his passion. In his search for balance in life and artistic expression, Alex continues to study, practice, and apply new skills to his art, focusing on contrasts of figurative and conceptual ideas.

I had the pleasure of receiving a hand painted live portrait from Alex. The experience was streamlined, professional and most of all fun. Alex has the ability to make you feel comfortable being the focal point of not only a painting but a moment. The painting was incredibly accurate, esp for 15 minutes!! That’s unheard of for an oil painting. As a director of a fine arts program and professor of art, this was hands down one of the most impressive paintings I have had the pleasure of being a part of. Highly recommended!!
